Roundtable discussions “Belarus’ Future is European: Choosing Values Over Fear” will bring together Belarusian and Czech experts, politicians, and diplomats to discuss key aspects of Belarus’s potential European integration. The event will take place on April 11, 9.30 at CEVRO University.
The roundtable will feature three thematic discussions:
• Democratic Belarus’s Defense Initiatives: Supporting Ukraine and European Security
• Charting Belarus’s European Course: History, Society, and Public Opinion
• Integrating Belarus into the European Political Landscape: Belarusian Democratic Forces and European Institutions.

We are honored to welcome distinguished speakers, including Aliaksandr Milinkevich, former presidential candidate and advisor to Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya on Belarus’s European choice; Vadzim Kabanchuk, representative for defence of the United Transitional Cabinet of Belarus and former deputy commander of the Kalinouski regiment; Jan Marian, deputy minister of foreign affairs of the Czech Republic and former special envoy for the Eastern Partnership; Czech senator and former diplomat specializing in security and international affairs Pavel Fischer; Tomáš Kopečný, Czech government commissioner for the Reconstruction of Ukraine and former deputy minister of defence of the Czech Republic; Czech special representative for the Eastern Partnership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and others.
The event takes place in partnership with Prague Center for Transatlantic Relations / PCTR.
