A discussion and a presentation of two research papers on energy

The debate was opened by a brief presentation of two research papers: The Electro-energy Security in the Czech Republic Until 2030 written by the main analyst of Sev. en Pavel Farkač and Crossroad of Czech Energy by the commissioner for energy security Václav Bartuška. The main topic was the current dilemma that occupies the minds of most western societies. The research papers were made under PCTR thanks to the cooperation with the New Direction Foundation. The follow-up discussion was moderated by Alexandr Vondra. Some of the other speakers were the Member of the Board of ČEZ Tomáš Pleskač and Jiří Feist from EP Energy. The main focus was on the readiness of Europe for the shortages of supply that will follow as a result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
