Closed Expert Discussion: Cooperation Between the State and the Private Sector in the Field of ICT.

28th of February

On February 28, we organized another discussion of the expert group on cybersecurity in the atrium of the CEVRO Institute.

This time, the main topic was cooperation between the state and the private sector in the field of ICT, focusing on:

  • What conditions and criteria the state should establish for companies to simplify and improve mutual cooperation (e.g., material and security-related factors such as ownership structure, security clearances, prior collaborations, turnover, etc.).
  • How to enhance the resilience and development of digital infrastructure.
  • What key projects the government is planning in the coming years and what opportunities they offer for private sector involvement (e.g., state service digitalization projects, data storage, cloud services, communication systems, etc.).
  • Best practices for state-private sector cooperation in ICT from abroad.

The discussion was opened by Tomáš Krejčí, Deputy Director of the National Cyber and Information Security Agency (NÚKIB), Tomáš Hrubý, Chief Director of the IT Department at the Ministry of the Interior, and Milena Jabůrková, Vice President of the Confederation of Industry. It was moderated by Aleš Špidla, the lead guarantor of the MBA – Management and Cybersecurity program at the CEVRO Institute.
