Club Meeting with Jakub Zelezny

he main guest was a well-known Czech journalist, radio and television presenter Jakub Zelezny. The theme of the meeting was “Czech Television in a trap of objectivity: displaying events from the period of the communist regime 25 years after.”

Jakub Zelezny was a recognized presenter of commented news „Události, komentáře“ in 2007 – 2013. He started to cooperate with Czech Television in 1999 and he has also cooperated with the Czech Radio since 1993.

He graduated from the Philosophical Faculty of Palacky University in Olomouc, where he is currently an external PhD candidate in the field of Czech history, and also from the Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University in Prague, where he is an external lecturer.

He is interested in the field of modern history.
